Job summary

Langford View in Oxfordshire is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our caring catering team, preparing meals, snacks and drinks for our residents.

You’ll get to know residents, understand their likes and dislikes, and help ensure mealtimes are a highlight of their day. 30 hours per week with weekend shifts; NVQ enhancements available and paid higher rates at weekends. Training provided; 28 days holiday, pension, free uniform and DBS are among benefits.

Qualifications

• You don’t need prior catering experience; training provided.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Positive can-do approach with good communication and care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Work with team to provide high-quality meals and service.
