Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member to support the dining service at Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire. You will assist residents with meals, set and clear tables, and help keep front of house areas clean and well-presented.

A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial, and experience in a restaurant, hotel, or care setting is desirable. You must demonstrate compassion and a commitment to delivering excellent culinary service to

• Experience in food service or hospitality desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate beneficial.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to residents’ dining experience.
• Maintain high personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selections.
• Set and clear dining tables; maintain front-of-house presentation.
• Keep dining areas clean, tidy and well-presented; replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh baked goods and fruit options are available in the dining area.
• Be aware of and accommodate residents’ dietary requirements.
