Job summary

Turtle Bay in Nottingham is seeking a warm, passionate Sous Chef to join our Caribbean kitchen. You’ll be second in command, working with the Head Chef to lead and inspire the team, delivering dishes full of flavour made with love.

You\'ll manage kitchen operations, assist with stock, health and safety, train new chefs and maintain high standards in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. We value teamwork, great guest experiences and opportunities to grow your career with us.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Passion for Caribbean-inspired cuisine and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Second in command in the kitchen, work with Head Chef to lead and inspire the team.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including prepping, cooking and stock.
• Train new chefs and support health & safety standards.
• Lead by example in a high-energy, fast-paced environment to deliver dishes with flavour and care.
