Job summary

Five Rivers Child Care Ltd is seeking a hands-on caretaker to maintain grounds and carry out basic maintenance across our Salisbury sites, including homes, schools and offices.

You will perform garden upkeep, minor repairs, painting and DIY tasks, while supporting health and safety checks, and coordinating contractors. The role requires a practical, reliable, independent approach and a willingness to travel by company van within about 20 miles of Salisbury. DBS check will be required.

• General garden maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and DIY tasks.

• Manage maintenance requests through Teams.
• Support site security, including locking/unlocking and alarm response when needed.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining grounds and basic landscaping tasks along with general maintenance within the homes, schools and Offices. Support with health and safety checks, coordinate contractors and help ensure our Salisbury sites remain welcoming and fit for purpose.

Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, usually 8.30am to 4.30pm. Part-time opportunities are also available, and we are happy to discuss flexible working patterns.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, reliable and confident working independently. You will be a good communicator, comfortable using Microsoft Teams and Office 365, and willing to travel our company van between sites within approximately 20 miles of Salisbury.

Experience in caretaking, facilities or keyholding is preferred,
