Student Roost in Leicester is seeking a part-time Caretaker to cover general maintenance at Queens student accommodation. You will perform building maintenance, carry out small repairs, and escort third-party contractors, with a DBS check required.

The role emphasizes health and safety, reporting accuracy, and delivering a great resident experience. You’ll work 17.5 hours weekly, typically 4–5 days across the week, from 8pm to 8am, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Caretaker

Hours : We are looking for a permanent part time Caretakers 17.5 hours a week, working 4 to 5 days out of 7 8pm to 8am.

Salary : £12,239.50 per annum

You will also take the lead on compliance checks with your keen eye for detail and precise reporting skills. • Comfortable with following process, with a dedication to Health and Safety
• Resilient, with the ability to get stuck in with messy jobs such as drain blockages and bin store management.
• Solutions orientated, with the ability to think on your feet.
• Electrical training will be provided however any additional maintenance qualifications are welcomed, but not essential.
