Job summary

Peterborough Limited seeks a friendly, professional school caretaker to ensure the site is compliant, well maintained, safe and secure. You will work to create a safe, orderly learning environment where children and staff can learn and teach with confidence, supporting the ethos of a Church and Trust school.

The role requires enthusiasm and approachability, a commitment to safeguarding training and ongoing CPD, including First Aid and safeguarding/ Child Protection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, learning-friendly environment for students and staff.
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained and secure school site.
• Support safeguarding and confidentiality in line with the school's Code of Conduct.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional caretaker to work within our school ensuring they are compliant, well maintained, safe and secure. • Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
• will ensure all children and staff feel safe, and able to learn and teach.
• will create a safe, orderly and compliant learning environment
• understands the importance of safeguarding even in roles that aren't working directly with the children
• is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
• who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children and staff whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school's Code of Conduct.
• who is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training , compliance and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
  understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children's welfare - both at home and in school.
