Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker in Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue, Barmston Mere, Nissan Way, Sunderland, SR5 3QY. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The salary offered is £23,110.67 per annum, along with a benefits package.

Shift times: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• The Caretaker will facilitate the delivery of services provided to Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Authority by Equans at their PFI Estate.
• Ensure all tasks are completed timely, following schedules and standards.
• Undertake a range of PPM tasks as per plans and industry standards.
• Log on-site jobs, monitor, and take appropriate actions for allocated jobs.
• This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Must undergo BPSS level vetting, including DBS clearance.
• Experience in operational delivery of FM Services and supervision is desirable.
• Experience in a customer-centric, front-facing role.
• Full clean driving license is essential.
