Job summary

A caretaker position is available at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd for a key site in Redcar. This immediate role seeks an experienced maintenance professional with a background in commercial facilities and a practical, hands-on approach.

The duties include opening the site each morning, basic DIY tasks (joinery/plumbing), and moving furniture to set up classrooms and halls. Hours are 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with weekends off; an Enhanced DBS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management.
• Enhanced DBS (or registered on DBS Update Service).
• Practical DIY skills (basic joinery & plumbing) and strong physical capability.

We are recruiting a skilled

Caretaker for a key site in Redcar. This is an immediate requirement for an experienced maintenance professional with a background in commercial facilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management.

Active

Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (or registered on the DBS Update Service).

Practical DIY skills (basic joinery & plumbing) and strong physical capability.

Pay: £15.17 per hour.

Schedule: Standard daytime hours (08:00-16:00) with weekends off.

Immediate Start: Full-time, steady hours guaranteed through September.
