School Caretakers

Location: Redbridge

Full Time: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Weekend overtime optional. Shift work available.

Temp-to-Perm after initial short trial period.

Salary: Temp-to-Perm (£25000 – £26900 per annum)

Start Date: ASAP.

Active Recruitment are looking for caretakers to join primary and secondary schools across East London. The schools would like to employ a Caretaker on an initial trial basis with the view to becoming permanent within the first month following a successful trial.

The ideal candidate will have previous relevant maintenance or caretaker experience and be able to work a standard shift pattern but remain flexible where on occasion, shifts may change at short notice to meet business needs.

Hours of Work
  • 8am – 4p.m or 10am – 6p.m – changeable on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis.
  • 52 weeks per year.
  • Monday to Friday but weekend overtime is also optional although not essential.
