Job summary

Barton Clough Primary School is seeking a reliable caretaker reporting to the Premises and Facilities Manager. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Core hours are 36.25 per week in an agreed shift pattern, with occasional extra hours and weekend work as necessary. We are open, supportive and flexible with high-quality CPD opportunities through our Teaching School Hubs and Professional Development Institute.

Job description

Reporting to the Premises and Facilities Manager, the candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and the ability to work alone and as part of a team are essential. Core hours are 36.25 as part of an agreed shift pattern. In addition, caretakers may be asked to work additional hours when necessary, sometimes at weekends. It is also expected that the caretakers will provide emergency cover as necessary.
