Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Caretaker on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) to help ensure smooth operations across our sites. You will work with cleaning and facilities teams to maintain high standards of safety and hygiene for clients and customers.

The role suits someone with strong organisational skills, a hands-on approach, and a flexible mindset. Cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, and we offer opportunities for progression within the company and

Responsibilities

• Work alongside cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Caretaker to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a full time basis, contracted to 37 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
