Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to help ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 37 hours per week. You will work with our cleaning and facilities teams to maintain high hygiene standards and support ongoing client environments.

The role offers hands-on work, opportunities for development, and a chance to grow within a leading UK services provider. Applicants should be adaptable and committed to a high standard of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or similar role preferred but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working.
• Willingness to perform hands-on duties in a facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to high standards.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including quick spill clean-ups.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and monitor cleaning supply levels.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Caretaker to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a full time basis, contracted to 37 hours per week., As a Caretaker, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. • Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
