Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a flexible facilities caretaker for 15 hours per week across multiple council buildings. The role involves opening/closing buildings, compliance checks and day-to-day building management to ensure access and safety.
We require good communication skills and knowledge of building compliance and Health and Safety; full training will be provided. A valid driving licence is a requirement for this post.

The Facilities Management team provides a caretaking service to a number of buildings throughout Bridgend County. The purpose of the role is to ensure buildings are available and fit for use. This includes opening and closing of buildings, undertaking compliance checks and ensuring the smooth running of the buildings on a day to day basis.
We are looking for a hardworking, flexible person with excellent communication skills and knowledge of building compliance and Health and Safety, however full training will be provided.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
