Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a part-time cleaner to join the Facilities Management team. The role covers schools and offices, with training provided and a focus on health and safety and high cleaning standards.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to greet customers in Welsh. A DBS check is required, and weekend work and a valid driving licence are mandatory.

The Facilities Management team provides a comprehensive cleaning service to a number of buildings and schools throughout Bridgend County.
This new team will be responsible for supporting all corporate cleaning contracts by providing responsive cleaning cover to sites as required. Undertaking cleaning tasks and providing a high standard of service.
Candidates will have experience in providing cleaning to a variety of buildings, such as Schools and offices, however full training will be provided. You will be expected to have some knowledge of Health and Safety, excellent communication skills together with a flexible approach.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
Weekend Working is a requirement of this post.
