Job summary

Turton School is seeking a Caretaker to join the site team in a large secondary school. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm, with term-time only delivery and occasional early starts from 7am when needed for exam setups or safe site prep.

The successful candidate will work flexibly to maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment for students, staff and visitors, and will support snow and ice clearance when required.

The role will occasionally require an early start from 7am during certain times of the year, for duties such as setting up exam spaces and assisting with clearing snow and ice to ensure the site remains safe and accessible.
