Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Caretaker to join a school environment in Birmingham. The role involves general caretaking, ensuring premises are safe and well maintained, and assisting with room setups and routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have previous caretaker or facilities management experience, be reliable and punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team. DBS required, with flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• General caretaking and facilities duties across the site.

• Carry out regular checks of the building and grounds.
• Report any faults, damage or maintenance issues.
• Support the wider facilities team with day-to-day tasks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £17.11 per hour inc. hol. pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
