Work hours: Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm & Friday 10am – 5.30pm
Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm & Friday 8am – 3.30pm

Dwr y Felin Governing Body are looking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a full-time caretaker in their premises department.

The successful candidate will have the attributes needed to undertake the range of duties associated with the post, including:

1. Self-motivation and the ability to take the initiative to deal with problems as they arise
2. Excellent practical skills and a pride in their work
3. Good skills in working with both adults and children
4. An awareness and understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures
5. Excellent organisational skills
6. A flexible approach to working hours
7. To attend as required, the opening and closing of the premises at designated times and be responsible for general security at all times
8. School caretakers may be called out during unsociable hours or at weekends to deal with security problems, and allow access for emergency repairs.
