Job summary

Melody Care is seeking compassionate Carers to support clients at home across Hampshire and Surrey. You will work with vulnerable adults, covering branches such as Guildford & Godalming, with a guaranteed hour contract and opportunities for additional hours.

Full training is provided; a full UK driving licence is required. Roles include evenings and some weekend shifts, with competitive pay linked to the Living Wage Foundation.

• Must be reliable, patient and empathetic.
• No previous care experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care, meals and nutrition.
• Assist with medications as directed.
• Help with shopping and running errands; accompany to appointments.
• Provide companionship and support in the home.
• Light cleaning duties as needed.

Melody Care is a quality, trusted, and award-winning provider of home care services. We are currently recruiting Carers to join our established team working with vulnerable adults in their own homes across Guildford & Godalming.

We have branches in Aldershot, Alton and Camberley - you will be based at whichever branch is most convenient for you, covering the surrounding area.

We offer guaranteed hour contracts of 10, 16, 25, and 35 hours per week.

Hours available: 7am until 2pm and 4pm until 11pm

To qualify for this you will need to work at least one evening per week and some hours alternate weekends.

Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence

The Role

As a Carer, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients in their own homes across Hampshire and Surrey, providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team. You'll be supported by our experienced care management team to ensure your success and career growth.

Responsibilities

As a Carer, you will be required to help clients in the community with:

• Personal Care
• Meal preparation and nutrition

• Arranging and accompanying clients to appointments

• Light cleaning duties
