Job summary

Melody Care is recruiting Carers to join a growing team delivering home care across Hampshire and Surrey. You will work at branches in Aldershot, Alton or Camberley, based at the most convenient location, and cover surrounding areas.

The role offers guaranteed hours per week with evening shifts and some weekend work. As a Carer, you will support clients in their own homes with personal care, meals, transport to appointments, and companionship.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required – full training provided.
• Candidates should be reliable, patient and empathetic, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients at home across Hampshire and Surrey with medication and personal care.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutrition.
• Support with shopping and accompanying clients to appointments.
• Provide companionship and light cleaning duties as needed.

We have branches in Aldershot, Alton and Camberley - you will be based at whichever branch is most convenient for you, covering the surrounding area.

We offer guaranteed hour contracts of 10, 16, 25, and 35 hours per week. Hours available: 7am until 2pm and 4pm until 11pm

To qualify for this you will need to work at least one evening per week and some hours alternate weekends.

As a Carer, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients in their own homes across Hampshire and Surrey, providing high-quality care and building strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team. You'll be supported by our experienced care management team to ensure your success and career growth.

As a Carer, you will be required to help clients in the community with:

• Medication
• Personal Care
• Meal preparation and nutrition
• Shopping
• Arranging and accompanying clients to appointments
• Companionship
• Light cleaning duties
