Job summary

Oakminster Healthcare is seeking caring and passionate Care Assistants to join our team across Glasgow care homes. You will support residents with personal care and participate in social activities, acting as a key worker to several residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care is desirable.
• Able to assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent standards of care in line with policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Act as a key worker to several residents, offering friendship and support while taking part in social activities.
• Accompany residents to hospital appointments as needed.
• Show warmth and support to residents and families, promoting independence and dignity.
• Liaise and communicate professionally with visitors, regulators, relatives and stakeholders.
• Document efficiently and accurately at all times.
• Attend training as required.

Description - Carer / Care Assistant

Oakminster Healthcare is looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our team of Care Assistants, providing support to our clients in the comfort of our care homes. We believe our staff are one of our most valuable resources in enhancing the quality of life for our service users, who are at the center of everything we do. About The Role

The Role and Key Responsibilities Are:

• Provide excellent standards of care in accordance with our policies and procedures.

• Attend training as required.
