Job summary

Home Instead East Hampshire & Midhurst is looking for Caring Care Assistants to join our Outstanding in Caring team. You will provide personal care, companionship and support to clients in their homes, with full training and ongoing development.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. We offer paid mileage, competitive hourly rates (£12.71–£13.80 during training/shadowing), and a referral bonus of £200.

All new Care Assistants complete 2 days of training to prepare for their role, followed by ongoing support and development. You’ll also receive specialist training, including dementia care, to help you grow and deliver the highest quality care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide friendly interaction, engage in activities, and reduce loneliness
• Promoting Independence: Encourage clients to do tasks they can manage, support safe mobility, and foster self-confidence at home

• Communication Skills: Positive outlook and ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
• Eligibility: Right to work in the UK
• Mobility: Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle, as travel between client visits is required
