Job summary

Home Instead East Hampshire & Midhurst is hiring Care Assistants to support clients at home. You will complete two days of initial training and receive ongoing development while delivering high-quality care with kindness and respect.

Key requirements include a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, and availability for morning and evening shifts as well as weekends. A competitive hourly rate is offered with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

All new Care Assistants complete 2 days of training to prepare for their role, followed by ongoing support and development. You’ll also receive specialist training, including dementia care, to help you grow and deliver the highest quality care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Personal Care & Daily Tasks: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, medication reminders, and mobility
• Comfort & Well-being: Deliver care respectfully, maintain privacy, monitor health, and enhance clients’ quality of life
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide friendly interaction, engage in activities, and reduce loneliness
• Promoting Independence: Encourage clients to do tasks they can manage, support safe mobility, and foster self-confidence at home
