Job summary

Sandwell College is seeking a dedicated Careers Officer to join the Central Student Services team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver one-to-one guidance and group sessions, support the Careers Education Programme, and coordinate events and UCAS activities across campuses.

The role requires Level 6 Advice & Guidance and a Careers Guidance qualification, with experience in education and UCAS processes. A full UK driving licence is preferred to access multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in Advice and Guidance (or equivalent).
• Careers Guidance qualification, ideally at Level 6.
• Experience delivering careers advice and guidance in an educational setting.
• Experience working with young people, including those with additional needs.
• Experience of UCAS processes and higher education progression.
• Knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks and careers quality frameworks.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or ability to travel to our different sites.

Description

Sandwell College Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Careers Officer to join and Careers Team on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the College Group's Careers Strategy, Careers Plan, and Careers Education Programme while providing impartial, confidential, and high-quality Information, advice and Guidance (IAG) services to learners across our campuses.

Key Responsibilities
