Job summary

Sandwell College is seeking a dedicated Careers Officer to join the Careers Team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will deliver one-to-one guidance and group sessions, coordinate events, and liaise with employers and universities to support learners' progression.

With a focus on Gatsby Benchmarks and high-quality IAG, you will attend external meetings, monitor KPIs, and help shape the Careers Education Programme across campuses.

Qualifications

  • Level 6 qualification in Advice and Guidance (or equivalent).
  • Careers Guidance qualification, ideally at Level 6.
  • Experience delivering careers advice and guidance in an educational setting.
  • Experience working with young people, including those with additional needs.
  • Experience of UCAS processes and higher education progression.
  • Knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks and careers quality frameworks.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or ability to travel to our different sites.
