Heart Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the careers programme and manage work experience across Bedford Academy. The role involves working with students, parents, staff, employers and education providers to deliver high-quality guidance and progression opportunities.

The Trust emphasizes staff development, wellbeing and a collaborative working environment, with extensive CPD and progression pathways.

Formación

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in providing information, advice and guidance on learning and work.
• Experience of working with adults and young people, both 1:1 and in groups.

Responsabilidades

• Embed and uphold The BA Way in all activities.
• Lead careers programme and work experience administration.
• Collaborate with staff, employers, education providers and external organisations to support students.

• To uphold and embed The BA Way at every opportunity and lead by example.
• To play a full and active part in Bedford Academy to ensure exceptional practice in the pursuit of excellence in all that we do for our young people.
• To ensure continuous improvement in the quality of provision in the specific areas of responsibility so that these are outstanding and develop our workforce.

• To work with students, parents, staff, employers, education providers and voluntary organisations to implement the careers programme for the School.
• To take responsibility for administration of the work experience programme
• To contribute to the high standards that are set by the Bedford Academy staff team at every opportunity, with a clear focus on developing best practice across the school.
  Level 3 qualification (e.g. 'A' Levels or equivalent.
• Minimum Level 4 guidance qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of the role of students' skills in promoting self-esteem and future success of students
• Successful experience of working with adults and young people, both 1:1 and in groups
• Experience of working in an education setting
• Experience of providing information, advice and guidance on learning and work
• Willingness to learn
  HEART Academies Trust formed in 2017 and currently consists of one secondary school, Bedford Academy and five partner primary schools, Cauldwell School, Goldington Green Academy, Shackleton Primary, Shortstown Primary and Wilstead Primary.
