Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Careers Adviser to join our team, working across Strodes’ College in Egham and Windsor College in Windsor on a permanent, term-time basis.

The role includes delivering impartial information, advice and guidance to students through workshops, drop-ins, one-to-one appointments and online support, with a focus on employability, progression paths and UCAS processes.

Qualifications

• Deliver impartial information, advice and guidance (IAG) to students through group workshops, drop-in sessions, one-to-one appointments and online support.
• Hold a Level 6 qualification in Advice and Guidance; Level 4 considered with experience and commitment to development.
• Help students identify progression pathways and support career planning, employability, and UCAS processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAG to students via workshops, drop-ins, and appointments.
• Support UCAS applications, interviews, and student finance.
• Lead careers-related events and work with curriculum departments to deliver employability initiatives.
• Track destinations and progression outcomes and support audits.
