Are you a highly organised individual with a passion for supporting the growth of others?

Tindle Newspapers has a brand new part-time role for a dedicated administrator to join our editorial team, and play a vital role in managing our career development pathway.

We are committed to nurturing talent and fostering career progression within our established community-focused publications , and believe the best way to do that is to invest in our staff and help them reach their full potential. Our career development pathway is a new initiative designed to support our employees’ skills development and career aspirations.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven administrator to help us deliver this important programme.

  • Support the editorial director to implement the agreed career pathway
  • Monitor and record staff progression on the career pathway

Location: Remote

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support the implementation of career development initiatives and training programmes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee participation and progress.
Prepare and distribute relevant materials related to career development opportunities.
Schedule and organise training sessions, workshops, and group sessions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding career development resources.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and development objectives for each staff member.

Qualifications:

Proven administrative experience, ideally within a professional or learning environment.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
A genuine interest in supporting employee development and engagement.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
