Priory Community School Academy is seeking a Careers Advisor on a permanent contract for 37 hours per week during term time plus 2 INSET days. The role delivers impartial career guidance to students and leads work experience programmes, connecting classroom learning with real-world opportunities for all year groups.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Headteacher, build relationships with local businesses and education providers, organise events, and monitor placements to meet Gatsby

Qualifications

• Level 6 Career Guidance qualification or commitment to work towards it.
• Strong English and Maths
• Proven track record in delivering impartial career guidance to young people.

Responsabilités

• Provide impartial advice to help students and families with option selections and post-16 decisions.
• Proactively build relationships with local businesses, universities and post-16 providers to secure opportunities.
• Oversee Key Stage 4 and Post-16 work placements, ensuring safe and monitored environments.
• Organise career fairs, talks and workshops, and keep stakeholders informed.
