Job summary

Brockenhurst College is seeking a dedicated Careers Adviser to provide high-quality information, advice and guidance to students, helping them make informed progression choices and move toward positive destinations. You will contribute to the Careers Department and support events, CEIAG resources, and market information.

The role is permanent and full-time (term-time only) with a focus on individual and group guidance, CV preparation, and liaison with local and national employers.

Qualifications

• Educated to at least A level or equivalent.
• IAG Level 4 or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience giving information, advice and guidance to young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 careers guidance interviews with students and document actions.
• Support UCAS processes and applications to HE.
• Liaise with employers for up-to-date opportunities.
• Run drop-in sessions and group activities on progression planning.
• Support Careers Leader with events and external careers activities.
• Maintain careers pages and CEIAG resources on the College VLE.
