Job summary

Brockenhurst College is recruiting an Employability Administrator on a permanent, full-time basis with a salary of £24,617 per annum. The role provides essential admin support to the Employability team, coordinating work experience, industry placements and employer engagement activities.

You will manage records, organise events, and liaise with students and employers while upholding safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, able to prioritise tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a welcoming, professional manner.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.

• Experience in providing administrative support in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Employability team.
• Be the first point of contact for students, welcoming and helpful.
• Maintain accurate records of employer contacts and placement details.
• Organise and promote employability events and manage logistics (rooms, transport, catering, AV).
• Assist with admin of work experience and industry placements, handling documentation and safeguarding requirements.
• Manage the work placement inbox and route emails to staff.
• Communicate with employers about placement arrangements and feedback.
• Handle inquiries via email, phone, and face-to-face in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaborate with other college admin and support teams.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
