Job summary

Avant Healthcare Services Limited is recruiting compassionate Care Assistants to support adults in their own homes across Surrey. We offer zero hours and guaranteed hours contracts with an enhanced half hourly rate.

Ideal candidates will have a caring approach, be locally based, and hold or be willing to obtain a Level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. You’ll work with a supportive team and have access to training, pension, and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings or community care is preferred.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and a person-centered approach.
• Ability to travel between clients’ homes within Surrey.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
• Assist with household tasks, meals and light chores.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Assist clients with specialist needs (e.g., dementia).
• Travel between homes in the Surrey area and work locally.
• Ensure right to work in the UK and maintain DBS status.
