Job summary

Avant Healthcare Services is seeking Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes around Greater London. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks, and deliver companionship to individuals in need.

You will also travel between homes to support clients, while upholding safety and dignity. The role requires a caring heart, right to work in the UK, and strong English. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or similar role (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
• Strong spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, medication).
• Helping with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Supporting people with specialist needs (e.g., dementia, autism, challenging behaviour).
