Northumberland County Council’s Tynedale House in Northumberland is seeking a Care Worker to support adults with learning disabilities to live with independence and dignity.
This part-time, permanent role offers 17.5 hours per week with night shifts between 8pm and 6am, a SPR premium, and a salary range of £12,487.90–£13,310.45. Training (including medication administration) will be provided.

As a Care Worker, you’ll be a key part of the support system that helps our residents live with independence, dignity, and joy. From assisting with daily routines to providing emotional support, your presence will be both comforting and empowering.
We’re all about the right attitude – if you’re caring, reliable, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you! Experience in care is great, but not essential – full training (including medication administration) will be provided.
Part-time, Permanent role – 17.5 hours per week
£12,487.90 - 13,310.45
1 + single premium rate (SPR) payment which enhances your salary for working unsociable hours, between 8pm and 6am and during weekends.
Please note, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Shift pattern: 2 x nights per week on a rolling rota over eight weeks. 9.75 hours per shift.
