CrossReach Trading Ltd. is recruiting Care Workers to support residents at St Margaret's House in Polmont, a specialist residential care home for older people with dementia.
You will provide personal and practical care, support daily routines and help residents stay connected with friends and activities. You will bring a thoughtful, patient and respectful approach, with the ability to listen, communicate and build trust.
St Margaret's House is a specialist residential care home in Polmont, supporting up to 36 older people living with dementia. Set within its own grounds beside a local park, the home offers a comfortable and supportive environment where residents are encouraged to maintain their skills, interests and independence. Care is shaped around each person's individual needs and preferences, with residents supported to make choices and remain actively involved in decisions about their everyday lives.
Help people stay connected, make their own choices and enjoy a better quality of life.
At CrossReach, we're recruiting Care Workers who understand that providing good care means looking beyond someone's immediate support needs.
You'll help people with daily living while recognising their individual interests, abilities and preferences. From practical assistance to emotional reassurance, you'll provide support that encourages confidence, promotes independence and respects each person's way of life.
You’ll bring a thoughtful, patient and respectful approach, along with the ability to listen, communicate and build trust.
You’ll recognise that everyone has different needs and that good care involves understanding those differences rather than expecting everyone to follow the same routine.
Previous care experience is welcome, but we’re equally interested in people who can demonstrate relevant skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to treating others with dignity.
You’ll be dependable, comfortable providing personal care and able to work responsibly as part of a team. You’ll also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with training and support provided by CrossReach to help you achieve this.
Relevant PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration requirements apply.
CrossReach is committed to providing care that respects individuality and supports people to live fulfilling lives. You’ll be contributing to that commitment through the quality of your work and the relationships you build.
We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that support others. Firstly, there is access to a wide range of exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card. We also ensure that your future and that of your loved ones is secured with a generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit. Balancing work and family are made easier with our suite of enhanced family friendly policies and your health and wellness are prioritised with access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments. We even have access to a care concierge service to assist you with life's challenges, providing invaluable support when you need it most.
But we also know that your training and development is important to you, and as well as a contribution to your professional membership fees, we are keen to support you in making the right steps to learn, grow and develop in ways that are right for you.
