CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking Care Workers to provide warm, person-centered support in a residential setting near Dornoch. You will help with daily living, mobility and social activities, while promoting dignity and independence in a team environment.
We welcome new entrants and those with experience; training toward SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is supported. PVG and SSSC requirements apply, and you’ll join a large Scotland-wide care provider committed to compassionate service.
Set within extensive gardens and grounds on the outskirts of Dornoch, Oversteps provides specialist residential care for up to 24 older people, including those living with dementia. The home offers a warm, welcoming and homely environment where residents are supported to maintain their independence, with personalised care available whenever they need it. Its location also provides opportunities for residents to stay connected with the local community and enjoy the amenities of Dornoch.
Help people stay connected, make their own choices and enjoy a better quality of life.
At CrossReach, we’re recruiting Care Workers who understand that providing good care means looking beyond someone's immediate support needs.
You’ll help people with daily living while recognising their individual interests, abilities and preferences. From practical assistance to emotional reassurance, you’ll provide support that encourages confidence, promotes independence and respects each person’s way of life.
What you will do
About you
You’ll bring a thoughtful, patient and respectful approach, along with the ability to listen, communicate and build trust.
You’ll recognise that everyone has different needs and that good care involves understanding those differences rather than expecting everyone to follow the same routine.
Previous care experience is welcome, but we’re equally interested in people who can demonstrate relevant skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to treating others with dignity.
You’ll be dependable, comfortable providing personal care and able to work responsibly as part of a team. You’ll also be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with training and support provided by CrossReach to help you achieve this.
Relevant PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration requirements apply.
Why work with us?

If you’re ready to help deliver care that puts people first, become part of CrossReach.
