Job summary

CrossReach Trading Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Care Worker to support adults with personal care and daily activities. You will help individuals stay active, involved, and as independent as possible, building trust and meaningful relationships.

The role is hands-on and collaborative, involving teamwork to tailor care to each person\'s preferences and needs. Training towards SVQ Level 3 and PVG/SSSC checks are part of the development path.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; dependability and a willingness to learn are valued.
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care will be supported if you don't already hold it.
• You must meet PVG and SSSC registration requirements and entitlement to work in the UK.

Job description

As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you'll help people with their everyday needs while encouraging them to stay active, involved and as independent as possible. You'll provide practical and personal support, get to know the people you care for and understand what matters to them.

It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with colleagues to provide care that reflects each person's needs, preferences and choices.

About you

You'll enjoy working with people, communicate clearly and bring patience, kindness and a thoughtful approach to supporting others. You'll take time to listen and adapt your approach to different needs and preferences.

You don't need previous experience in care to apply. We're interested in people who are dependable, willing to learn and ready to take responsibility for providing good-quality care. If you don't already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, you'll be supported to work towards achieving it as part of your development with CrossReach.

You'll need to be comfortable providing personal care, working as part of a team and responding to people's individual needs. You'll also need to meet the relevant PVG and SSSC registration requirements.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
