Job summary

HICA is seeking a Care Assistant for Cranwell Court in Grimsby. You will join a not-for-profit organisation that supports residents with warmth and dignity.

Responsibilities include leading and coaching care staff, updating care plans, administering medications and supporting residents’ independence, with paid training and NVQ progression. DBS checks are required, and right to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Experience working in care.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or relevant experience.
• Medication training.
• Experience supervising or supporting other staff.
• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for care.

Cranwell Court is a modern care home featuring 58 beds, thoughtfully divided into a 17-bed enhanced dementia unit and a 41-bed residential development. Located on Cambridge Road in Grimsby and set within its own beautifully landscaped grounds, Cranwell Court offers a range of spacious, self-contained apartments equipped with kitchen and bathroom facilities, giving residents the comfort of their own front door and private space.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
