Oakland Care Ltd in Chigwell is seeking a qualified Unit Manager to lead a care unit with warmth and professional rigor. You will oversee daily operations, nurture a dedicated team, and ensure care plans reflect residents’ needs.

The role demands compassionate leadership, robust organisation, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care. Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, £35,000 per annum.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a senior care position (e.g. Unit Manager, Senior Nurse, Senior Carer or similar).
• A recognised qualification in Health & Social Care (NVQ Level 3/4/5 or NMC registration – desirable).
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Compassionate, professional approach with a passion for high‑quality care.

Aufgaben

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the unit, ensuring consistently high standards of person‑centred care.
• Leading, motivating, and developing a committed care team.
• Ensuring care plans and documentation are accurate, up to date, and truly reflect residents’ needs.
• Managing staffing levels, rotas, and shift coordination effectively.
• Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and best practice.
• Acting as a visible role model, promoting excellence in care.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision, and ongoing staff development.
• Building strong relationships with residents, families, senior management, and external professionals.
