Job summary

Renaissance Care Croftbank is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join the night shift, working 44 hours per week. You will supervise the care team, uphold care standards, and foster compassionate, person‑centred interactions that give residents daily purpose and connection.

You will take a lead on updating resident Care Plans, promote the Inclusion Charter values, induct new staff, deliver training, and support junior colleagues to deliver high‑quality, personalised care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
  • Medication administration training would be preferred.
  • SSSC Codes of Practice awareness and, preferably, registration with the SSSC.

Responsibilities

  • Promote compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment.
  • Induct new care staff and supervise the wider care team.
  • Conduct training sessions and support junior team members to deliver quality personalised care.
  • Lead on updating resident Care Plans to ensure they are personalised and meaningful.
  • Uphold the Inclusion Charter values and promote daily meaningful interactions for residents.

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Croftbankfor 44 hours per week working nights.

Our care team is at the forefront of resident engagement, quality care and lifestyle opportunities – making sure that physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing is supported for all residents. The role of Care Team Lead is to promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.

As a Care Team Lead, you are encouraged to take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalised with what’s meaningful to the individual. Promoting the values and virtue of our Inclusion Charter to ensure residents are at the very core of their care.

Care Team Leads are responsible for upholding care standards and leading by example when supervising the wider care team. Some of the key responsibilities for the role include: promoting compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment, helping to induct new care staff, supervising the care team, conducting training, and supporting new/junior members of the team to deliver quality personalised care.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Medication administration training would be preferred, as well as at least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role. You will be aware of, and adhere to, the SSSC Codes of Practice and, preferably, be registered with the SSSC.
