Abbeyfield Living Society is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader for night shifts at Hill House, Combes Raleigh, Honiton. The role involves supervising care delivery, updating personal care plans and ensuring medication administration is accurate and compassionate.

You will lead a team during night shifts, coordinate with colleagues and families, and maintain high standards of resident welfare while fostering a supportive, well-organised environment.

Qualificações

• Experienced Carer, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or working towards this.
• As Care Team Leader, demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills.
• Skilled in writing/updating Care Plans and competent in administration of Medication.
• Passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to residents and their families.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on shift as Senior Carer for the nights, monitoring health and social needs of residents.
• Prepare, implement and review personal care plans including medication administration.
• Supervise, support and develop team members; liaise with residents, families and care staff.
• Take the lead during emergencies and ensure residents' needs are central to care.

Location: Hill House, Combes Raleigh, Honiton, EX14 4UQ
Pay: £14.77 p/h - £15.24 p/h
Hours: 36.75
Shifts: Week 1 Wednesday ,Thursday, Friday, Week 2 Monday, Friday, Saturday 19.30 to 07.45

The Role of Care Team Leader - Nights

• Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. Asthe recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility forregular monitoring of thehealth, care and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication.
• You'll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in resident'scare, as well as with the residents themselves.Put simply, you'll ensureresidents'needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
• As the Senior Carer on that shift, you willtake the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.

About You

• You must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this.
• As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication.
• Most of all, you'll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
