Abbeyfield Living Society in Honiton is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to join Hill House. The role supports the health, care and social needs of residents, coordinating care plans, supervising staff and ensuring residents’ needs and preferences stay at the centre of care delivery. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Carer with strong organisational skills.
• Able to write and update Care Plans and administer medication.
• Demonstrates staff leadership and effective communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ health, care and social needs on shift.
• Prepare, implement and review personal care plans including medication administration.
• Supervise, coach and develop team members and liaise with care partners and residents.
• Take a lead role on shift during emergencies to support staff and residents.

We are now looking for a dedicated Care Team Leader to join our team at Hill House.

Role: Care Team Leader (Senior Care Assistant) Days
Location: Hill House, Combes Raleigh, Honiton, EX14 4UQ
Pay: £14.77 p/h - £15.24 p/h
Hours: 24 Hours
Shifts: Week 1 Tuesday, wednesday, Week 2 tuesday, friday, 07.30 to 19.45

The Role of Care Team Leader

• Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. Asthe recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility forregular monitoring of thehealth, care and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, including the administering of medication.
• You'll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in resident'scare, as well as with the residents themselves.Put simply, you'll ensureresidents'needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
• As the Senior Carer on that shift, you willtake the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.

About You

• You must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this.
• As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You'll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication.
• Most of all, you'll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
