Job summary

Avocet Court Care Home in Ipswich seeks a Registered Nurse to ensure high clinical care for residents. Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager, you will lead a clinical team and uphold relationship-centered and dementia care standards.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £22.71 and shifts up to 45 hours per week, with a rota from Monday to Sunday. Induction, DBS/NMC costs cover, and other benefits accompany the package.

Qualifications

• Qualified and NMC registered RN, RMN or RNLD with 1 year post-registration experience.
• Proven track record leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a clinical team.
• Experience delivering high quality relationship centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Clinical Care Manager with the care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident’s care.
• Assist with ensuring care plans are regularly audited and that they are appropriate to the residents needs and reflect the care being delivered.
• Actively engage with residents in meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
• Lead the clinical team to ensure they are aligned with the Athena vision and are operating from the Athena Charter.
