Job summary

Hillside Care Centre, part of Hoople Care, is seeking a Care Team Leader to support staff and residents and help shape a positive, safe care environment in Hereford.

You will lead day-to-day shifts, coordinate assessments, supervise Support Workers, and contribute to audits, quality monitoring and compliance with CQC and Hoople standards.

Join a dedicated team delivering person-centred care, develop leadership skills, and help people live independently and with dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading care teams and coordinating shifts.
• Ability to supervise Support Workers and agency staff.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with care records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shifts and coordinate assessments for personalised care.
• Act as role model; provide guidance and supervision to staff.
• Support audits, quality monitoring and compliance with CQC and Hoople standards.
• Develop activities that promote independence and engagement.
• Manage medication rounds and maintain MARs, ensuring safe processes.
• Build relationships with families, professionals and the community.
