Job summary

Hill Care Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our in-house team in the United Kingdom.

You will supervise junior staff, develop and implement care plans with healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate resident records to ensure high-quality, dignified care. You will need leadership experience, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for improving residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a senior care role.
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and care team.
• Familiarity with IT systems used for recording and communicating in a care home.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with professionals and family input.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance to enhance team performance.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and changes in their condition.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the care home.
• Participate in training to stay updated on best practices in residential and nursing care.
• Administer medication to residents.
