Job summary

Lifeways Group is seeking a Care Team Leader for Portway House in Stafford. You will lead a dedicated team of Support Workers, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with learning disabilities and promoting independence and growth.

You\'ll supervise, coach and develop staff, manage inductions and recruitment, and collaborate with families and external partners to deliver positive outcomes in a supportive, empowering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Leader in Health & Social Care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers.
• Conduct supervision, coaching and performance reviews.
• Support recruitment, interviews and inductions.
• Promote independence, choice and positive outcomes for people we support.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies.
• Ensure care records and service documentation are accurate and compliant.
