Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Care Team Leader to lead a dedicated team at our Blackburn supported living service. You will work with the Service Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred support daily.

You will mentor staff, ensure up-to-date care plans, promote independence and dignity, and build strong relationships with families and professionals while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Support Worker or Team Leader in adult social care.
• Leadership and mentoring of frontline staff.
• Strong communication and coordination with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are current and effective.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity for the people we support.
• Oversee daily operations, rotas and quality standards.
• Support staff development through supervision, coaching and training.
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders.
• Lead by example to create a positive, inclusive environment.
