Job summary

Lifeway’s Group is seeking a Care Team Leader for our supported living service in Blackburn. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and help residents live independently in their own homes.

You’ll work with the Service Manager, organize shifts (37.5 hours), supervise staff, and ensure care plans and risk assessments are up to date. The role requires Level 3 Health & Social Care and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Support Worker or Team Leader in adult social care.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Commitment to delivering person-centred support.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate the support team to deliver high-quality care.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and daily operations.
• Manage rotas, shift patterns, and staff supervision.
• Build relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders.
