Job summary

Sense is seeking a Care Team Leader to join our supported living service at Newton Court in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent post, 37.5 hours per week, paying £27,983 per annum (£14.35 per hour). The role uses a two-week rota with mornings, evenings and weekends.

A full UK driving licence is essential; BSL Level 2 is desirable. This position is open to female applicants only, in line with legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of support workers and conducting appraisals.
• Demonstrated ability to coach staff to deliver high-quality support.
• Experience supporting rota management and day-to-day service operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of support workers and conducting regular supervision sessions.
• Coaching and guiding staff to maintain high standards of support.
• Supporting rota management and day-to-day running of the service with the Manager.
• Recruitment and induction support for new team members.
• Help people we support participate in meaningful activities and community access.
• Contribute to person-centred plans with families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding responsibilities.
