Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking an experienced leader to join our Mental Health leadership team. The post involves managing a caseload, developing staff, and working across MTW sites.

You will participate in corporate induction and attend the two-week induction programme for clinical staff, with travel between Trust sites. The role requires postgraduate leadership qualifications or equivalent, mentorship and management experience, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration as RMN/AHP/Social Worker with caseload management.
• Postgraduate leadership/clinical practice qualification or Level 7 equivalent.
• Mentorship course or equivalent.
• Management experience including rotas, budgets and staff.
• Experience in mental health/social care settings and MH Act 1983.
• Experience delivering training or teaching.

Responsibilities

• Attend corporate induction and complete trust induction programme.
• Work across MTW sites and participate in multi‑disciplinary meetings.
• Support staff development, appraisals and supervision.
• Contribute to discharge planning and governance activities.
