Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Operational and Clinical Team Manager to lead the MHST and early intervention pathway for Children and Young People’s mental health services.

You will provide both operational and clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safe, effective care and timely support in schools and community settings. This 12-month fixed-term post offers leadership, supervision, and collaboration across partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience providing clinical leadership and supervision.
• Understanding of child and adolescent mental health pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership to MHST and CWP teams.
• Line management, supervision, and professional support of staff.
• Oversee referral screening, allocation, and clinical decision-making processes.
• Manage team performance, caseloads, and service delivery targets.
• Support staff wellbeing, development, and maintain positive team culture.
• Collaborate with schools, partner agencies, and wider services.
• Ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with priorities.
